NATURE & ART
My work is a reflection on the passage of time and a metaphor of nature, as a reflection of its life.
My work is a reflection on the passage of time and a metaphor of nature, as a reflection of its life.
On these canvases, I work with acrylics using the monotype technique. They depict landscapes where I explore textures and the fascination that arises from evoking nature. No human traces are present—solitude and reflection take center stage in the works.
My training as an artist happens in Spain and Paris France. In 1980-1983 Graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts in Ceramics of Coruña. Spain. In1983-1987 Graduated from the
Ecole National des Beaux Arts in Paris. France. In 2000-2001 Master: Fashion, Communication and Advertising. Faculty of Sociology. University of Coruña. Spain.
I also do different training courses with Juán Genovés, Luis Gordillo at the Unión Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art A Coruña. Spain.
Besides my dedication to painting, another of my main activities has been the realization of more than two hundred workshops and lectures for both adults and children, in which I have focused on art
and gender, mythology, spirituality, object and avant-garde, art and society among others. These workshops have been held at the Centre Georges Pompidou Paris, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Museum

There is in my works a way of understanding painting within abstraction, searching for a language that is given to me by the material I usually work with, very watered-down acrylic, letting the gesture and the water act, waiting, finding forms, when the paint dries, it is deposited. Then I cut out shapes, structures or plots that structure the composition and that allow us to see a more thoughtful part of the work. Nature, not as a model to imitate, but as a spiritual source that allows me to express what I feel as transcendent.
